Hi, I’m Yuna
I’m an autistic parent raising a neurodivergent child, and I created My Autistic Nook from the kind of support I kept wishing was easier to find, a practical, understanding, and free from pressure to “fix” our kids.

Why I created this space
When you’re raising a neurodivergent child, there can be so much information coming at you such as advice, therapies, school meetings, things you’re told you should be doing. And somehow, it can still feel incredibly lonely.
I wanted to create a place that feels a little different. Somewhere we can talk honestly about what’s hard, share practical things that actually help, and support our kids without treating who they are as a problem to solve.
What you’ll find here
My Autistic Nook is about making everyday life a little easier to navigate with practical ideas you can actually use, honest conversations about the messy parts, and support that respects neurodivergent kids for who they are.
Practical support
For school, executive function, regulation, sensory needs, routines, and everyday life.
Lived experience
Not perfect answers, just thoughtful ideas shaped by experience, learning, and a lot of trial and error.
No fixing required
Support should help our kids feel understood and supported, not make them feel like they need to become someone else.
I’m glad you’re here
I know how much there can be to figure out, and how lonely it can sometimes feel along the way. I hope My Autistic Nook can be a place where you find something useful, feel understood, and remember you don’t have to have all the answers today.
